The problem we walked into.

Almost every used car imported here was sold at auction in Japan first, and that auction recorded its true mileage and condition. By the time it reaches a showroom floor, the buyer has only the seller's word — and a wound-back odometer is invisible across a forecourt.

How we framed it.

The evidence already exists; the problem is that it is locked in Japanese auction records a buyer cannot reach. We made it a single question anyone can ask — one chassis number, one report, in plain language, on a phone, before the money moves.

What we shipped.

A chassis lookup that returns the original auction sheet alongside a plain-language reading of it: whether the recorded mileage is consistent, what the inspector flagged, and what the vehicle will cost to bring in once duty is added — delivered as a PDF report the buyer can take to the seller.
